Renting safely
A few simple rules to help you avoid scammers.
- Never transfer money in advance for a flat you haven't seen in person.
- Ask for the land registry extract (tulajdoni lap) or proof that the person is entitled to rent out the property.
- Always sign a written lease agreement, including the amount of the deposit.
- Report suspicious listings to us with the “Report listing” link at the bottom of the listing.
