Újbuda is one of Budapest's largest districts, stretching from the foot of Gellért Hill to Kelenföld railway station. It is home to the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and several other higher-education institutions, giving the district a youthful, academic atmosphere. It also includes the green surroundings of Feneketlen-tó lake, as well as modern residential developments and shopping centres such as Allee.
